Epson launches two full HD home projectors in India

Both the projectors feature 3LCD technology and RGB liquid shatter and a 0.61-inch LCD panel with MLA (micro-lens array).

Epson has launched two new home projectors — the EH-TW650 and EH-TW5650, in India. Priced less than 1 lakh these projectors claim to be ideal for big home screen entertainment. The EH-TW650, comes with a high brightness of 3,100 lumens as well as with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1, while the EH-TW5650 comes with the brightness of 2,500 lumens and contrast ratio of 60,000:1.

The EH-TW5650 home projector is priced at Rs 95,999.

Both the projectors feature 3LCD technology and RGB liquid shatter and a 0.61-inch LCD panel with MLA (micro-lens array).  The projectors claim to have 4,500 hours of lamp light durability and 7,500 hours in economy mode. They carry Full HD 1080p projection with a 16:9 aspect ratio and claims to have colour reproduction up to 1.07 billion colours. The EH-TW650 has a projected ratio of 1,02 - 1,23:1, whereas the EH-TW5650 has 1,33 - 2,16:1 projection ratio. Both the projectors consume around 298W in full power mode and as little as 0.2W in the standby mode.

On the connectivity front, both the projectors support USB 2.0, HDMI, Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n and the EH-TW650 has an added advantage of VGA input and Miracast. Additional features include built-in speaker, horizontal and vertical keystone correction and split screen functionality.

The EH-TW650 is priced at Rs 58,999 and the EH-TW5650 is priced at Rs 95,999. Epson says the TW650 home theatre projector will be exclusively available only on Amazon India.
