TSC launches MB240 printer series In India

The new MB240 series is designed to fit alongside TSC's bigger industrial printer models including the MH240 and MX240P series.

TSC launched the entry-level industrial printer series MB240 in India.  As stated by the company, the printer boasts of a small footprint, compact design and quiet operation making it a perfect solution for light industrial printing applications. The new MB240 series is designed to fit alongside TSC’s bigger industrial printer models including the MH240 and MX240P series.

The MB240 series features a 3.5-inch color touch display and bright indicators which, as TCS claims, will allow for simple operation. The printer comes with various interfaces including 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB, USB host and serial connections.  Options including regular cutter, peel & present with internal rewind, and a general-purpose input/output (GPIO) interface allow the printer to be integrated into numerous application.

Compared to the TSC legacy ME240 series printer, the MB240 series weighs 10 per cent less and is 13 per cent smaller in size. Moreover, it offers wide open angle for media handling and ribbon tension and pressure adjustment. The MB240 series includes a 3.5-inch HVGA color touch display user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) design with six menu buttons.

Other features include 2-button 5 LED (MB240/MB340)/ 6-button 3.5-inch HVGA color touch LCD (MB240T/MB340T), 450-meter ribbon capacity, supports 8-inch O.D. label roll and up to 120mm label width. It also offers a die-cast print mechanism for custom applications and TSPL-EZD firmware for plug-n-play ease. Available in 203 dpi and 300 dpi resolutions, the MB240 series is equipped with tool-less platen roller exchange, peel-off kit and GPIO.
