The company has launched its latest production printing series at the Print Expo 2018 in Chennai.
Konica Minolta has launched the AccurioPress C3080 expanding its production printers portfolio. The mid-production printer series has been unveiled by Konica Minolta at the Print Expo 2018 in Chennai, demonstrating the capabilities of the new Accurio Press C3080. The new press promises to be productive and more flexible to handle a variety of applications.
The AccurioPress C3080 supports auto-duplex banner printing up to 762mm and delivers print speeds of 81ppm and 45ppm (both monochrome and colour) for A4 and A3 print jobs, respectively. The A4 printing speed is consistent at 81ppm for a thickness of up to 216gsm, and at 51ppm for a paper thickness between 217gsm and 350gsm. The mid-production printer also has a maximum sheet capacity of 15,390 A4 sheets of 80gsm and supports the full range of in-line finishing options.
The built-in Intelligent Quality Optimiser – IQ-501 provides automated and real-time quality controls – including registration, front-to-back alignment, image gradation, and density – for print consistency.
The AccurioPress C3080 also comes equipped with a new colour dual scanner capable of operating at up to 240ipm, along with a double-feed detection kit to avoid scanning two sheets at once. Moreover, the Air Suction feeding mechanism employed by Konica Minolta promises to reduce paper jam through an additional paper tray (PF 710), in addition to three PF-707 trays, for increased uptime, stable paper feed capability, and better productivity. The inclusion of a relay unit (RU-518) also eliminates paper curl.
Lastly, the press promises to handle various media such as coated and embossed papers, helps print and printing businesses to benefit from more – and better – business opportunities.
