Lenovo ThinkPad P52 unveiled with 128GB of RAM

Lenovo has introduced its new ThinkPad P52 workstation, which is powered by 8th-Gen Intel Xeon hexacore processor.

The new ThinkPad P52 workstation is primarily designed to handle prominent tasks such as 3D rendering, video editing, AR and VR creation and also artificial intelligence-based simulations.

Lenovo adds VR support to its new ThinkPad series. The company has launched new ThinkPad P52 workstation at AEC Magazine's NXT BLD conference in London.

Lenovo has managed to cram in 128GB of RAM and a massive 6TB of storage into a 15-inch sized form factor. It has also managed to shove in 8th-Gen Intel Xeon hexacore processor and an NVidia Quadro P3200 graphics card. This entire top specced laptop boasts a 4K 15.6-inch display panel, which also emits 400nits brightness with 100 per cent RGB Adobe colour gamut.

The new ThinkPad P52 workstation is primarily designed to handle prominent tasks such as 3D rendering, video editing, AR and VR creation and also artificial intelligence-based simulations.

On the I/O front, the ThinkPad features three USB 3.1 ports, two USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports, one HDMI port, mDP 1.4, Mic/Headphone Combo Jack, SD card reader, smart card reader 1, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, Kensington Lock Slot, integrated 4-in-1 card reader. On the connectivity front, the workstation supports Intel 9560 802.11ac and Bluetooth v5.0. The ThinkPad P52 is fuelled by a 90WHr battery.

The price of this powerful workstation is yet to be known. Lenovo is also offering this same specced workstation in a Full HD panel as well, which emits 300nits brightness with 72 per cent RGB Adobe colour gamut.
