The Vivoactive 3 Music is almost similar to the Vivoactive 3.

Garmin's newly unveiled Vivoactive 3 Music wearable adds a music player as well as a local storage to the blend of a fitness tracker and GPS smartwatch.

The Vivoactive 3 Music is almost similar to the Vivoactive 3. The wearable features a touchscreen with swipeable bezel, GPS, a heart rate monitor, contactless payments through Garmin Pay, stress and VO2 max fitness level calculations, a pack of built-in activity trackers, phone notifications, and support for third-party watch faces and access to the Garmin Connect IQ app store.

The major difference here — with the new Vivoactive 3 Music, one can store up to 500 songs that one can play directly listen to on headphones paired over Bluetooth. There is now no need to carry a smartphone. The watch has Swim and 5 ATM certification.

The wearable sports a 1.2-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Garmin claims that its battery runs for 13 hours in GPS training mode, seven days in smartwatch mode and five hours in GPS mode with music playing.

In terms of connectivity and sensor, it includes Bluetooth Smart, ANT+, GPS, GLONASS, optical HR, an accelerometer, a barometer, a compass, and a thermometer.

The Vivoactive 3 Music retails at a price of $299.99 (approximately Rs 20,300) and $29.99 (approx Rs 2,000) for separate bands of different sizes.
