If you have been aware of the world of technology in 2013, you would be remembering the Google Glass, a device that was considered to be a technical masterpiece. It showed the world a direction to which the world of tech is heading towards. However, the product was limited in production and taken off the shelves before the masses got a chance to lay their hands upon it. It seems though that the Google Glass is not going out of the market anytime soon as it is back.

Alphabet X, a subsidiary of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has announced the revival of the long forgotten Google Glass in the form of Google Glass Enterprise (EE) Edition. As you have guessed it, the product will only be available to enterprises with a focus to enhance productivity. Alphabet has worked with partners to improve the design and working of the product. The actual smart module can now be clipped on to any sunglass or a pair of spectacles, thus making any eyewear smart.

Alphabet has already had the statistics of the device from DHL, one of the largest logistics companies in the world. DHL has seen an improvement of 15 percent in work efficiency as the Glass EE deliver information while their hands are busy somewhere else. Agricultural machinery firm AGCO has also seen a boosted machinery production time by 25 percent.

The Glass EE has an improved battery life compared to its predecessor’s 5 hours, a red indicator to let people know if the device is recording a video, an improved 8MP camera and a faster as well as efficient processor. Although the product is strictly meant for business purposes, the world now has a fair idea of the next smart spectacle from Google.
