The Apple Watch Series 4's price in India starts at Rs 40,900.

At the iPhone event held back in September, Apple officially took the wraps off the Apple Watch Series 4 and this device has been an instant hit with reviewers across the world. Now, after a long wait, the Apple Watch Series 4 is finally available for sale in India. This smartwatch is already made available in India via popular online shopping portal Flipkart and various other authorised Apple resellers coming with a starting price of Rs 40,900.

Apart from Flipkart, the Apple Watch Series 4 is also available at Croma and iMagine, both of which are authorised Apple resellers. The 40mm and 44mm models are available for outright purchase from the aforementioned stores as well as a host of other Apple resellers across the country.

The Apple Watch Series 4 comes in a variety of styles and colour options and is available in two variants — GPS and GPS + Cellular. The Apple Watch Series 4 Aluminium GPS only version is priced at Rs 40,900 for the 40mm version while the 44mm Aluminium GPS variant starts at Rs 43,900. The GPS + Cellular 40mm variant start at Rs 49,900 while the 44mm GPS + Cellular version is available for Rs 42,900.

The Stainless Steel version starts at Rs 67,900 for the 40mm model while the larger 44mm version is priced in India at Rs 71,900. Both the aforementioned models come with Sports Bands and feature GPS + Cellular connectivity. For those of you who are interested in the Stainless Steel model with the Milanese loop band, these models will set you back by Rs 76,900 and Rs 80,900 for the 40mm and 44mm models respectively.

For those not in the know, the Series 4 is powered by Apple’s next-generation S4 chip with a custom 64-bit dual-core processor, which Apple claims can deliver twice the speed while maintaining the same all-day battery life. It gets a new and larger display with thinner bezels. The back is composed of black ceramic and sapphire crystal, which Apple says can help with connectivity. The Digital Crown now includes haptic feedback, offering a more mechanical and responsive feel.

The biggest highlight, however, is that users can now take an ECG reading right from the wrist using the new ECG app, which takes advantage of the electrodes built into the Digital Crown and new electrical heart rate sensor in the back.
