Asus launches ZenBook Pro 15 with 4K display

The ZenBook Pro is powered on a Intel Core i9-8950HK 2.9GHz hexa core processor with Turbo Boost (up to 4.5GHz).

The ZenBook Pro is fuelled by a 75Whr battery that promises to provide a battery backup of up to 9 hours.

Asus has launched a new premium laptop named – ZenBook Pro 15, which features a 4K display panel and is powered by latest Intel 8th-Gen i9 processor. The laptop claims to be a powerhouse built in the smallest form factor.

The ZenBook Pro comes in a solid aluminium body weighing around 1.86kg with a thickness of just 18.9mm and comes in a single colour variant – Deep Dive Blue. As the name suggests the laptop features a 15.6-inch 4K display with a 16:9 touch-screen panel. The laptop claims to have 7.3mm thin bezel on the front with a screen-to-body-ratio of 83 per cent. It also features 178-degree wide-view technology and ASUS Eye Care technology, which promises to reduce up to 30 per cent of blue-light. The laptop showcases a VGA camera and a full-size backlit keyboard, with 1.5mm of key travel while the touchpad is glass covered and lastly, it also features an integrated fingerprint scanner for added security.

On the specifications front, the ZenBook Pro is powered on a Intel Core i9-8950HK 2.9GHz hexa core processor with Turbo Boost (up to 4.5GHz). Followed by 16GB of RAM and is also equipped with 4GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. As for the storage, the ZenBook features 1TB of PCIe SSD that promises to deliver 3000Mbps read speeds. The ZenBook Pro runs on a Windows 10 Pro operating system. The ZenBook Pro is fuelled by a 75Whr battery that promises to provide a battery backup of up to 9 hours.

On the I/O, the laptop is equipped with two Type-C USB 3.1 Thunderbolt ports, two Type-A USB 3.1 ports, one HDMI port and a headphone jack as well as a microSD slot.

The price of the ZenBook Pro 15 is yet to be known. Asus is also offering a full HD variant of this laptop along with 8th-Gen Intel i7 and i5 processors.
