Linksys India launches Dual-Band gigabit Wi-Fi router

The Linksys WRT1900ACS Wi-Fi Router has upgraded hardware features for delivering AC1900 Wi-Fi speeds.

Linksys is including the Smart Wi-Fi Application with Network Map, allowing users to remotely monitor and control their network anywhere.

Linksys India has launched the WRT1900ACS Router featuring an impressive 1.6GHz dual-core processor and double the memory capacity (512MB DDR3 RAM). The company says that the faster processor and added memory work in tandem to deliver improved wired, wireless, and storage device performance.

The Router is made for both, home users and business professionals, claimed to facilitate seamless surfing, video streaming, gaming as well as data transfer.

Linksys is including the Smart Wi-Fi Application with Network Map, allowing users to remotely monitor and control their network anywhere. Advanced users can also customize the WRT1900ACS via open source software from third-party websites.

The router has wireless-AC, up to 4.3 times faster than N technology. It can provide simultaneous dual-band speed up to 600Mbps (2.4GHz) + 1300Mbps (5GHz) for media-intensive applications. There are four high-performance antennas that are adjustable to ensure supreme Wi-Fi signal strength in multi-level homes and small offices. Also, there’s eSATA, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports for sharing content via an external storage device with ultra-fast data transfer speeds. Users gain unprecedented access to customize the router as it is Open Source ready.
