ViewSonic launches ViewBoard 4K flat panel displays in India
The latest ViewBoard IFP50 series features a 20-Point touchscreen.
ViewSonic has launched the ViewBoard series of interactive flat panel displays in the Indian market. The ViewSonic IFP50 series includes a 65-inch, a 75-inch and an 86-inch model.
The panels support a resolution of 4K (3840x2160) pixels along with a 20-point touch screen for allowing better collaborative experiences. The user experience on ViewBoard interactive flat panels is highlighted by the two-finger Floating Pen and exclusive ‘one-touch-to-Google Drive’ save features. During discussions, the user can access and control a presenter’s Windows/Mac device remotely via ViewBoard’s Touch Back Control.
ViewSonic claims that pairing the ViewBoard 20-point touch display with pre-installed tools, such as vBoard for annotation, ViewBoard Cast for content sharing, and Zoom conference software allows multiple users to remotely write, share, and interact simultaneously. The easy-to-use vBoard software allows users to write, highlight, edit and transform documents and images on the screen in real time. Built-in Cast software ensures that content can be shared from any mobile device directly to ViewBoard screens, while Zoom supports video conferencing and distance learning for up to 10 users in various locations.
The IFP50 series can be coupled with an optional slot-in PC, which comes pre-loaded with the Windows 10 OS and grants users access to the specialised ViewBoard 2.1 annotation software for more dynamic interactivity functions. Supporting DisplayPort 4K input, HDMI-out, as well as shared USB and LAN ports for the embedded player and optional PC makes the IFP50 series flexible enough to fit a wide range of user scenarios. The HDMI-out mirroring capability delivers group discussion and spatial arrangement flexibility by allowing content to be mirrored on to two ViewBoards or any other compatible displays.
The displays come with a built-in ARM quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and provide powerful computing for annotation and multimedia playback without the need for a PC. ViewSonic claims that the IFP50 series displays are built to last with anti-glare 7H tempered glass and a Flicker-free & blue light filter.
The ViewBoard IFP6550 is available for Rs 3,50,000 whereas the IFP7550 retails for Rs 7,00,000. The 86-inch IFP8650 costs around Rs 9,00,000.
