This new IP for the PS 4 entered the market generating a tremendous buzz. Everyone was excited about the possibility of a new series for the PlayStation 4. Sadly though, The Order 1886 turned out to be a 6-hour tech demo for the console. The abundant QTEs and the lacklustre gameplay was just not enough to carry this game to live up to its hype. Overall, a very good-looking flop.

Star Wars Battlefront

Possibly one of the best looking games to have ever been made, Battlefront does an excellent job of creating breathtakingly beautiful settings which will immerse gamers.

Where it does fall painstakingly short is in the content department. With hardly three good game modes and barely any maps the game gets real old, real fast. And throw in the fact that everything is locked behind a pay wall, the alternative to which is playing the game for an insane number of hours, is what cements this game’s position at the number one spot on our list of the most disappointing games of 2015. Battlefield Hardline

EA completely dropped the ball with this one. Deviating from the much loved Battlefield formula and adopting a “Cops and Robbers” model really handicapped the game.

Moreover, a complete lack of variety in terms of maps, guns and vehicles completely takes away everything that is unique to the Battlefield franchise, throw in a by the numbers, clichéd campaign and you have one very disappointing first person shooter.

Batman Arkham Knight (PC Port):

The Arkham series of Batman games has produced not only some of the strongest Batman games till date but can also be included as some of the best games in the entire action-adventure genre. Arkham Knight also kept this brilliant legacy up for people who had adopted the title on the consoles, the PC version was anything but. Rife with bugs and a frame rate cap of 30 FPS, Arkham Knight was met with a lot of anger from the PC community to the point that Warner Bros. were forced to withdraw the game.

Evolve: When I heard that Turtle Rock Studios, the masterminds behind the Left 4 Dead franchise were doing an asymmetric co-op shooter, I was excited. The demos that were given were impressive. On launch however, most of us realised that a majority of the game was hidden behind DLC and microtranscations. Throw in the fact that the game had seen a graphical downgrade and wasn’t the best balanced shooter out there, the player base vanished fast.
