Vivo NEX passes 3C certification in China
The rumours suggest that the device could be the concept of Vivo APEX that was unveiled at MWC 2018.
A few days ago, a smartphone dubbed Vivo NEX surfaced online. The rumours suggest that the device could be the concept of Vivo APEX that was unveiled at MWC 2018 and may get rebranded and unveiled through the upcoming event. The Vivo APEX aka Vivo NEX was showcased earlier this year with a 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio, half-screen fingerprinting scanning technology, and a pop-up selfie camera. The Chinese company is expected to unveil the smartphone on June 12, as per a report.
The latest piece of information about the upcoming smartphone is that the Vivo NEX has appeared on 3C China and there are not two but three variants of the smartphone that passed the regulatory agency. According to GSMArena, three variants of the Vivo NEX have been listed on the 3C certification website dubbed Vivo NEX, Vivo NEX A and Vivo NEX S. Unfortunately, the listing doesn't reveal much information about the devices, only that they might support fast 5V/2A, 9V/2A and 10V/2.25A charging over USB type C.
The report indicates that one of the three variants could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, clubbed with an 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Furthermore, the Vivo NEX S variant was spotted online which is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 710, paired with the 6GB/128GB configuration.
