GoPro allows users to share footage directly to Instagram stories

New sharing feature now lets users move their content straight to Instagram from the GoPro app.

The new feature will be available in version 25 of Instagram for Android and iOS.

GoPro users can now add their GoPro photo and video footage direct to your Instagram story from the GoPro App with only a few taps. The company is allowing users to share their recorded video footages and clicked photos directly to Instagram within the GoPro standalone app.

The company is providing new tools that allow users to trim their videos to the exact clip they want. For instance, like vertical crop or a wide shot for the perfect angle and adding close-to-the-action clips adjusted to the exact moment a user wants to share.

Sharing the photo or video to Instagram is just within a few steps. Firstly, a user needs to select a photo or video in the GoPro App, then tap Share and Instagram Stories – drag left or right to frame the perfect vertical crop – trimming the video to share exactly what a user wants to share and can also add creative tools, which are already available.

Currently, this new sharing is an option only available for iOS devices. In addition to Instagram stories, the photos and videos can also be shared via Instagram Direct message within the app as well.
