Cloud Summit, which was scheduled to be held in Miami Beach, Florida from May 12 to 14, will now be held early next year
Chennai: One after another, tech companies have been cancelling their major events in the United States over fears of the fast-spreading coronavirus COVID-19. After the Mobile World Congress, Game Developers Conference, Facebook’s F8 Developers Conference and Google I/O meet, now Cloud tech company Ingram Micro Cloud has cancelled this year’s global Cloud Summit.
Cloud Summit, which began in 2009, annually brings together innovators and problem solvers in the cloud technology space.
The event was to be held only in May but the company has decided to take abundant precaution and postpone it. Without announcing the exact dates, Ingram Micro Cloud said on the Cloud Summit website that the conference which was to be held in Miami Beach, Florida between May 12 and 14 will be held early next year.
It merely pointed registrants to the Cloud Summit FAQ site for questions related to rescheduling of the event.
