Since the discovery of the 'technical error', Facebook has been quietly alerting users and shutting down such group chats.

Facebook is making it easier for you to have conversations in its Messenger app with the help of voice commands. A Facebook Messenger spokesperson has reportedly confirmed that the social network is internally testing a voice command feature, to make it more engaging and convenient for users.

Facebook Messenger for Android has been found hiding a new M assistant button which activates listening for voice commands to functions such as sending messages, initiate voice calls, and create reminders, TechCrunch reported.

"We often experiment with new experiences on Messenger with employees. We have nothing more to share at this time," the spokesperson was quoted as saying.

"Facebook Messenger is eager to differentiate itself from SMS, Snapchat, Android Messages and other texting platforms," said the report.

As of now, it is not clear when the feature will be officially rolled out. When launched, it will make communication easier for vision or dexterity-impaired users.
