Though not unexpected, a couple of days ago, it got an official tweet confirmation from Vine. News is that the old Vine reincarnates as Vine camera on the same day. Don’t bother about what to do with all the short videos that are there on the platform, you won’t lose them all of a sudden. The website turns into an archive of Vines created through the Vine app and lets you browse them again.

The help centre help.vine.co answers many ‘W’s in a long list of questions. Here is what a user can expect from Vine camera once it turns active. “The Vine Camera will allow you to make 6.5 second looping videos and post them to Twitter, or save them to your camera roll in a logged out state. You will not be able to do any of the other things you can currently do with the Vine app. Once the Vine Camera is live, you will no longer be able to download your Vines from the app.”
