ASUS recently unveiled a new health-focused wearable called VivoWatch BP.  It is designed to measure and monitor blood pressure on the real-time basis.

The wearable is equipped with a built-in ECG (electrocardiography) and PPG (photoplethysmography) sensors that help provide real-time blood pressure measurements in just 15 seconds. ASUS says an accurate blood pressure reading can be taken in just 15 seconds, as the user holds a finger on the front-facing metal disk, according to Android Central.

Furthermore, there is ASUS Health AI technology that provides health statistics, including heart rate, sleep quality, activity data, and stress levels.

The manufacturer claims the VivoWatch BP represents a 70 per cent smaller in size and 50 per cent light in weight relative to comparable alternatives. The new wearable is claimed to last 28 days. It carries a price tag of $169 and might release it in Taiwan by the end of July.
