Now you can forward your friend's Instagram story to another one
The latest feature adds the ability to send anyone stories to someone else through Direct Messaging.
Popular social media platform Instagram has rolled out a new feature to its app that will let you share Instagram stories as messages to your contacts. The feature is rolling out to users across the world on both platforms and will reach your phone if you haven’t received it.
To share an Instagram story, all you have to do is tap the direct icon in the bottom right corner and select a friend or group to share it with. Your contact will receive the story as a message in his/her message box.
If you are afraid of someone sharing your story with strangers on Instagram, then you can simply switch off this feature from the settings of the app. Also, if you have a private account, only your followers can view your story in their inbox. The message will also vanish as soon as the story disappears from their timeline.
Instagram has been lately getting a lot of features to enhance the user experience but the latest one seems to be oriented more towards privacy violation instead of enhancing the experience. Only time will tell whether this feature will find favour with users or not.
