With the advent of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Google also announced its most intriguing earbuds in an attempt to dabble in the wireless earbuds category last month. The semi-wireless earbuds went on sale at the same time as the pixels but have taken a little longer to get out the box.

Now, Google has finally started sending out shipping notifications for early orders. The wireless Pixel Buds are selling at cost of $159.

Google’s Pixel Buds are neck-buds and not completely wireless. They connect with a wire between the two so users won’t need to worry about losing one of the buds. The wire is actually wrapped in fabric. Users can adjust loop’s size so the earbuds stay securely in their ears.

One of the biggest highlights of the Pixel Buds is the real-time translation, which performs language translation from over 40 supported languages through Google Translate in real time. Users will also be able to listen to music for up to five hours on a single charge, with an option to extend the listening time for up to a day.

Talking about Google’s virtual Assistant, Google has been incorporating it into all of its devices and the Pixel earbuds are no exception. Pixel buds let you talk to Google Assistant and receive notifications in your ears. It also helps control tunes, give walking directions, also have a conversation with someone from another country without ever pulling out your phone. Users can also press the earbud and ask questions and have the answers read back to them.

The Pixel Buds comes in three colour variants — Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue. The new Buds is currently available in the US and will be soon coming to Canada, UK, Germany, Australia and Singapore.
