Artificial Intelligence (AI) seems to be taking over the world (literally) and scientists and researchers have been building up and reaching newer levels everyday. And mind you, AI is not restricted only to a certain kind of device, it is now present from smartphones to smart home appliances and many more things. What doesn’t seem to be far fetched is that very soon, AI will be able to read your mind completely!

Japanese scientists seem to have finally created an AI that could read human brainwaves.  In a research paper titled ‘Deep image reconstruction from human brain activity’, the scientists have created an image based on what a person is looking at it. These images give us a hazier idea of one’s thoughts and don’t seem to be real images and what makes the whole process interesting is that they are created using brainwaves.

A report by TNW claimed that scientists have apparently shown some sample images to their subjects and recorded their brainwaves. These brainwaves where then translated into images when the subjects recalled the same visions.

CES 2018 witnessed Nissan coming up with a new technology called ‘brain-to-vehicle’ which leverages brain signals to control the vehicles. The brand also seems to be coming up with other devices and algorithms which measure the human brain’s activity and to a vehicle’s functioning.
