Samsung Wireless Charger Duo for Note 9 and Galaxy Watch: Report
Samsung could showoff its Wireless Charger Duo at its next Unpacked event on August 9, according to reports.
Wireless charging is still isn't a widespread feature in Android smartphones. Last year, Apple introduced the AirPower mat that will simultaneously charge three devices — such as an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, which is expected to be launched soon. The multi-device charger will help clean up the mess of charging cables. Now, it seems that whenever Apple will release its multi charger device, it might already have some fresh competition.
According to Roland Quandt from WinFuture, Samsung will unveil a two-in-one charger for its smartphones and Watch. Furthermore, the leaks revolve densely around the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Watch. There is a possibility that the tech giant would showoff its Wireless Charger Duo at its next Unpacked event on August 9.
The leaked image suggests that the new Wireless Charger Duo is capable of charging either two Qi-compatible smartphones simultaneously or only one phone and the Galaxy Watch. In addition, both placement areas support fast wireless charging. As far as the pricing is concerned, Mobile Fun asserted that the Wireless Charger Duo could cost 55 pounds (approximately Rs 4,965).
Besides, in June, Bloomberg reported that Apple has faced “a series of technical hurdles” during the course of AirPower’s development, such as heat management to make sure the accessory doesn’t overheat and some complicated circuitry involved.
