Upload multiple media at once on Insta Stories
Instagram is making it easier for users to upload multiple photos and videos at once to their Instagram 'Stories.'
Popular image and video-sharing platform Instagram announced a host of new updates to its app, making it easier for users to upload multiple photos and videos at once to their Insta Stories.
"We're introducing a few updates that make it faster and easier to upload photos and videos to your stories. You'll now be able to upload multiple photos and videos to your story all at once. Whether you want to preview your entire story to make sure it's just right or you're waiting for a strong connection to upload all of your photos and videos from the day, it's now faster and easier than ever to share to your story after the moment has passed," the company wrote in a blog post.
To explore the new feature, a user may select the 'upload media' option, where a new icon will appear at the top right corner of the screen. Hereafter, the user may tap the option to begin selecting up to ten photos or videos from the gallery. On the edit screen, a preview of all the media selected will appear lined up at the bottom. Each of these can be enhanced individually with stickers, text and other tools in Instagram Stories. Once done, all of the photos and videos in the preview will upload at once in the order selected.
The new update, the company said, will also make it faster to find the right place when adding the location sticker to a photo or video, as the location sticker will suggest places from near where the media was captured. The latest updates are being rolled out on Android and will be launched for iOS users as well in the coming weeks.
