Snapchat to update its app with 'Custom story' feature

Snapchat will reportedly be rolling out a new ‘Custom Stories’ feature on its platform. Under this, users will be able to select the users that can view their stories. Users can also invite their friends to add snaps to the story.

Additionally, users will also be able to avail the option of sending invites to friends of friends in a particular area by making use of the custom geo-fence option.

The ‘Custom Stories’ — much like regular stories — will disappear after 24 hours.

Apart from this, users will be able to make use of the personalised emoji tool called ‘Bitmoji’ on their ‘Custom Stories’ as well.

The new feature will be available on both, Android and iOS platforms soon.
