Facebook shares infographics on mechanisms to curb sexual harassment on the platform

Facebook is taking cognizance of United Nation’s International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women by creating awareness about existing mechanisms to deal with harassment on it. 

The platform, which had recently partnered with the Indian Ministry of Women and Child Development in this regard as well, has shared these info graphics for the same.

According to a blog post published earlier on the matter, the platform has been using technology's help to prevent the spread of non-consensual intimate imagery.

On the occasion Facebook reiterated that it committed to making its platform safer and more welcoming for women, ensuring that women are well aware of all they could do to keep themselves safe as well.
