Realme 2 has been launched in India at an event in New Delhi. The smartphone features a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 display with an 88.8 per cent of screen-to-body ratio and 360 nits of maximum brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with an Adreno 506 GPU, and up to 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. Optics wise, the device gets a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there's an 8MP sensor along with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 85-degree wide-angle lens. It is powered by a 4230mAh battery under the hood, with a bundled 5V/2A (10W) adaptor.
The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. It also includes dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Realme 2 costs Rs 8,990 for the 32GB variant and Rs 10,990 for the 64GB variant.
