A spree of new features are been rolled out by Instagram to its app lately. The Facebook-owned app has recently introduced its IGTV app and a new feature that allows users to add music to Stories. It seems like Instagram hadn't stopped rolling new features yet.

A new report from folks at Android Police suggests that a new feature, which hasn't been announced yet, has surfaced on the web. The new feature is again related to the Stories in the app. As of now, a user watching another users' story, can send that user a direct message in response to the picture or video that was shared in that story. However, the new feature allows the user to tag or ask specific questions directly on the story, and can give a response right away with the text tab placed below the question.

This sounds similar to the already existing feature where a user can conduct polls (yes/no) and emoji sliders on their stories, the new feature is expected to be in the same category and is hoped to feature in stickers' section in the Instagram app.

Since the person who shared the screenshot didn't share any other details about how this new option works, we still don't know whether the answers to that questions in Stories will show up as a direct message or in some other new method. We can expect this new feature to be rolled out to Instagram in the coming weeks.
