Huawei game-changer smartphone coming soon
The Chinese telecom giant is also expected to launch the Mate 30 5G in December.
Undaunted by the imposition that was previously placed on them, Huawei has no plans to stop its yearly run of exciting smartphone launches. The Huawei Mat X, which is a game-changer because of its unique foldable form factor is scheduled to release in September. If the handset does in fact release at this time, then there is a solid possibility that it could even beat the Galaxy Fold’s attempt to reach consumer’s hands as soon as possible. Aside from the most hyped smartphone in the brand’s history, Huawei is also rumoured to introduce the Mate 30 5G in December. This shows that their release schedule is on track and undeterred by the opposition faced by the US government.
According to a leaked slideshow, the Mate 30 5G will launch in December. This was shared by company officials at a 5G conference in Russia. While this timeline speaks just for Russia, we can get an idea as to when the global release date will be. A report by GSMArena claims that the 4G version of the Mate 30 could launch sooner than the 5G version and would slot in perfectly with the brand’s timeline of its yearly Mate series launches.
The Mate X is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year and it could be released as soon as September. This handset was believed to have launched much earlier. However, with the Galaxy Note fiasco, Huawei has intentionally delayed the launch so as to not face any embarrassing hiccups.
While these handsets will come with 5G, this isn’t the brand’s first 5G handset. That title goes to the Mate 20 X 5G that has already launched in select markets.
