Micromax Canvas Infinity goes on sale; gets half million pre-bookings

Micromax launched its Canvas Infinity smartphone in the Indian market in August and is available for purchase via Amazon India on Friday through a flash sale.

Consumers who couldn’t get their hands on the device during the first sale can register for the next sale scheduled for September 8. Users will also get up to 30GB additional data from Reliance Jio, five Kindle books worth Rs 375 for free, and Rs 250 Amazon Pay balance.
To recall, the Canvas Infinity is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes with a 5.7-inch display with an 18.9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and offers dual-SIM functionalities.
It comes equipped with a 16MP front facing camera with soft selfie flash and f/2.0 aperture. On the rear it offers a 13MP camera with an LED flash. It also comes with Auto scene detection mode support.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and OTG support (up to 64GB). It draws power from a 2900mAh battery that claims to provide up to 20 hours of standby time of 420 hours.
