The smartphone has been spotted on the US FCC website and is expected to come with 3.5mm headphone jack, 16:9 aspect ratio and more.
HMD Global is reportedly brewing up a new smartphone which is believed to be codenamed as" TA-1056," spotted on the US FCC website. This phone could possibly be the Nokia 1, which was leaked recently.
The Nokia 1 might be smaller than the Nokia 2 and could come with a height of 133 mm and a width of 68 mm, as per GSMArena. In comparison, its predecessor, the Nokia 2 has a height of 143.5mm and a width of 71.3mm. It will apparently feature a 4.5-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to FCC listing, the phone could be a dual SIM phone with Cat 4 LTE and a removable battery. Also, the handset is believed to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack and has relatively basic LTE and lack 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Moreover, the handset is speculated to launch as part of Google’s Android Go program and might be one of the first smartphones to launch with Android Oreo Go Edition.
The phone is expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2018, which is scheduled kick-start from February 26 in Barcelona. As for the Specifications, Nokia 1 could sport an HD IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 1GB RAM/8GB storage. The phone might come with a price tag of RUB 5,990 (approximately Rs 6,800), as per GizmoChina. Nokia 1 could probably be HMD's cheapest handset in its Nokia series.
