A cheaper version of the Galaxy Fold is in production mode

Samsung finally announced the Galaxy Fold is launching on September 6. Now reportedly, we are hearing that Samsung is also working on a cheaper variant of the phone.
As per reports, the cheaper version of the Samsung’s Galaxy Fold will go for USD 1000 i.e. roughly around Rs 71,600. The current foldable device which is set for launch is priced at somewhere around USD 2000 (roughly Rs 1,43,974). For making their new foldable technology available for a larger segment of the population, the South Korean tech giant is working on a cheaper model of the same phone.
SamMobile reported, “The new Galaxy Fold that's currently being developed bears model number SM-F700F. We're told that it will come with 256GB of internal storage, half of what the Galaxy Fold features. Little else is known about this device right now.”
The present Galaxy Fold will feature a huge 7.3-inch flexible primary AMOLED display and a secondary 4.6-inch screen. Under the hood would be a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
And talking about cameras, the device will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 16MP and two 12MP sensors. For clicking selfies, the Galaxy Fold will have a 10MP camera.
