Infinix teases new Hot 7 smartphone Thoda Extra is NOT so Thoda' in India
Infinix has teased a brand new smartphone for India and it will expand upon the brand's Hot series.
Infinix, in India, is riding on a wave that seems to be not even dipping slightly. After the successful launch of the Smart 3 Plus and the S4, Transsion Holdings’ top brand launched the Hot 7 Pro, a smartphone that boasts a 6GB RAM under the Rs 10K price range. After the strong showing in the first half of 2019, Infinix is gearing up to launch another smartphone that’s set to disrupt the market once more.
The Infinix Hot 7 smartphone has been teased on Facebook and we see glimpses of the handset in two teaser clips. The first clip doesn’t show that much merely suggesting that “Thoda extra is never Thoda in our country India!” This clip obviously means that it’s a smartphone that’s made and designed for India.
In the second clip, there are a few glimpses of the Hot 7 but nothing quite clear to get a decent enough view of the smartphone. However, what’s interesting is the hashtag that’s associated with the second video and with this, we get to know the name of the smartphone. Infinix has used the #ComingSoonHot7 tag which indicates that the smartphone’s launch is just around the corner.
If this is indeed the Infinix Hot 7, then it should come with a notched IPS LCD display, an octa-core chipset with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. Interestingly it will also feature a dual front-facing camera setup alongside a dual rear camera configuration.
As of now, no pricing details are available and if our sources are accurate it should be launching in the coming week.
