The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ will come with more memory than the standard version and an extra camera on the back.

Yesterday we had reported about Realme introducing the world’s first 64MP camera phone, and now, new reports suggest that even Samsung is working on a phone with a 64MP camera sensor.

As per a leak from Ice Universe on Twitter, Samsung has started working on a new Galaxy A series phone, which will feature their new camera tech. The South Korean tech giant may introduce the device as soon as possible in September/October this year.

Samsung had officially launched the 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor in May this year. And, earlier rumors even suggested them to launch a phone called the Galaxy A70s.

Samsung says its 64MP ISOCELL sensor has the highest resolution in Samsung’s 0.8 micrometer-pixel image sensor lineup and also features the “industry’s highest resolution” lens. It uses pixel-merging Tetracell technology to develop out 16MP images in low lighting conditions by merging four pixels into one and 64MP images with “color filter descrambling” in well-lit conditions.

“The 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 will enter mass-production in the second half of this year,” said Samsung earlier, and we think this might be it.

Redmi had also revealed that it is also working on a phone with a 64MP camera sensor.

The race to launch the first 64MP camera device has commenced between Realme, Samsung and Redmi and we shall see who comes in first.

Let us know in the comments section below who you think will introduce the new camera tech first?
