Huawei also plans to bring its own AI processor this year. But it is still unclear whether the Mate 10 will incorporate the AI processor. Earlier, there were reports that the smartphone will feature face recognition, support for Augmented Reality and 3D touch sensitivity as well.

In recent years, Huawei’s premium offerings have gone from strength to strength. If reports are to be believed then the firm has secured itself as the third highest-selling smartphone brand globally at the moment. It appears like the company is now preparing for the launch of Huawei Mate 10 — successor to last year’s Mate 9 smartphone.

Huawei is planning on launching its Mate 10 device in October, Uber Gizmo reported. The speculation-based report claims that the handset will sport a bezel-less display with 2,160 x 1,080 pixels resolution (18:9 aspect ratio). Furthermore, the device is even believed to come integrated with a fingerprint sensor into the display. Meanwhile, the smartphone will be armed with 10nm Huawei Kiri 970. It is also being rumoured that the smartphone might sport 3D sensing dual cameras, which may be used for some augmented reality features. However, the company hasn’t provided any confirmation at the moment.
