Huawei P11 might feature 40MP Triple-Lens rear camera
A new report suggests that Huawei's P11 phone could come with unprecedented camera setup.
Huawei is getting serious about its phone’s camera and the Chinese company is planning to take things to the whole next level. A new report suggests that Huawei’s upcoming P11 phone could come with unprecedented triple camera setup.
Leaked images suggest that Huawei’s next-generation P-series phone might house a triple-lens, 40MP rear camera setup as well as 5x hybrid zooming and a 24MP selfie camera.
Moreover, a pro night mode feature is expected to ensure that users ‘shoot gorgeous night scenes’ without a tripod. The leak also suggests that the company will be using some AI camera assist for instant scene recognition and auto framing. Also, the upcoming PCE series could have some relation with the company’s existing P-series.
Is the next Huawei P-series going to be an imaging powerhouse? A digital artist at one of the company's creative agencies added these "PCE Series" ads to their portfolio -- claiming 40MP, 3 lens rear (5x hybrid zoom) + 24MP selfie, all Leica-co-developed. pic.twitter.com/t8w3VlL55L

The rumour is based on the images leaked from a digital artist at one of the company’s creative agencies, which also reveals that the cameras may be once again co-engineered with optics company — Leica. The images were first spotted by popular tipster Evan Blass on twitter. As of now, it is impossible to predict anything but it wouldn’t be surprising to see the company introducing three lenses from 2018.
