OPPO A5 debuts with 4320mAh battery, 19:9 FullView display

OPPO's latest smartphone — A5 features an illusion texture back panel, designed using a nano-scale microcrystalline technology.
The A5 flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ FullView display, protected by a 2.5D curved glass panel. It has an 87.9 per cent of the screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. It runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset is backed by a 4320mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 14 hours of video playback or 11 hours of gaming on a single charge.
In terms of photography, there is an 8MP sensor for a front shooter with a f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, the front camera sensor is aided by a several AI beautify features. At the back, the smartphone sports a dual camera system, comprising of a 13MP camera sensor with a f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP camera sensor with a f/2.4 aperture, accompanied by a LED flash. Connectivity, the Oppo A5 has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also packs a 4230mAh battery.
The OPPO A5 is priced at CNY 1,500 (approx Rs 15,500) and is available for pre-orders in China. It comes in two colour variants —Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink.
