Instagram’s live stream feature has caught on with the Instagram-loving crowd. Thousands of live streams happen every day on the fancy social media platform. In order to make the feature more interesting, Instagram has added a new feature to add your friend to the live stream while recording.

If you are interested in roping in your friend or acquaintance to the live stream, then all you have to do is press the icon with two smiley faces next to the comments box. A list comes up with all the names of your friends available at that time to continue live streaming. Your viewers can still like and comment as they follow along. Note that the live stream screen splits into two parts, just like Android Nougat’s multi-window.

However, this feature was available in May on the Facebook app and it was only a matter of time before Instagram was expecting the feature to be seeded to it. The feature is rolling out in segment across the world to the masses and you should be expecting it shortly if you haven’t received it yet.
