iPhone 8 won't get the Rose Gold variant
Apple won't be releasing the Rose Gold variant of the iPhone 8. Instead, the smartphone will ship in Black, Gold and Silver colour options.
Apple started a huge trend by introducing the Rose Gold colour variant with the iPhone 6s, but now the company might kill off the variant. According to security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple won’t be releasing the Rose Gold variant of the iPhone 8. Instead, the smartphone will ship in Black, Gold and Silver colour options.
MacRumours claims that the news fits with a leak that showed the three models of the upcoming flagship.
Kuo also believes that the Apple will announce all three variants at the same time in September and release them simultaneously. There are also rumours floating about Apple facing shipping delays, but CEO Tim Cook has dismissed that notion when he stated the company would have a ‘very exciting fall’. It is imperative that this piece of information should be taken with a pinch of salt and wait for the company to make an official announcement. Maybe theirs is still a chance to save the Rose Gold variant.
