Xiaomi Mi Note 3 teaser leaks, shows a dual camera setup
The Mi Note 3 looks to be a bigger iteration of the flagship Mi 6 smartphone.
September 11 is creeping closer, which means the waiting period for the next flagship bezel-less smartphone is almost over for Xiaomi fans (read here). The Mi Mix 2 is supposed to sport a display with a lower screen-to-body ratio along with flagship specifications like Snapdragon 835, 6/8GB RAM and all other goodies. However, it seems that Xiaomi is planning to unveil another smartphone on September 11, hinting towards the Mi Note 3.
Leaks on Weibo have surfaced, stating that the Mi Note 3 will be unveiled alongside the Mi Mix 2. Judging by the photographs, the Mi Note 3 will be essentially a bigger version of the Mi 6 flagship smartphone. The teaser shows the smartphone in two colours from the back, showing a dual-camera setup in a similar fashion to the Mi 6 (know about the Mi 6 here). However, nothing else has been revealed yet.
The Mi Note 3 is believed to be the Mi 6 Plus in essence, which was supposed to debut alongside the Mi 6 a few months back. It will be interesting to see whether the Mi Note 3 will just a bigger Mi 6 or a proper successor to the Mi Note 2 with curved edge displays and maybe even thin-bezel displays. We expect it to be an affordable version of the Mi Mix 2 with flagship specifications. Stay tuned for all the updates related to the Mi Note 3 and the Mi Mix 2.
