Alcatel launches A5 LED, A7 Smartphones in India
The Alcatel A5 LED was originally launched back in February at MWC 2017, while the Alcatel A7 was launched more recently at IFA 2017.
After having launched the A series of smartphones in Europe and US, these devices are finally making their way to the sub-continental shore. Alcatel has launched its two smartphones — the A5 LED and the A7 in India, priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively and will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
The Alcatel A5 LED was originally launched back in February at MWC 2017, while the Alcatel A7 was launched more recently at IFA 2017.
As for the specifications, the A5 LED sports a 5.2-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Alcatel A7 features a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a MediaTek MTK6750T octa-core processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.
On the photography front, the A5 LED comes equipped with 13MP/f2.0 auto-focus rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device draws power from a 2800mAh battery. The Alcatel A5 LED will be available in Metallic Silver. While the A7 sports a 16MP/f2.0 auto-focus rear camera and bear 8MP front shooter. The smartphone comes packed with 4000mAh battery. Lastly, the smartphone comes in two colour variants — Metallic Black and Metallic Gold.
