ASUS is readying its arsenal of smartphones for 2017 and the Zenfone 4 has been already launched in some Asian countries. Now, ASUS has unveiled the selfie-focussed models of the Zenfone 4 series in France — Zenfone 4 Selfie. There are two different models under this name — Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone Selfie 4 Pro.

As you have guessed, the former is the low-end model whereas the latter is a slightly high-end model. The Zenfone Selfie is built on top of a Snapdragon 430 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage with 128GB expandable storage. It sports a 5.5-inch HD LCD display and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The phone comes with a 20-MP sensor and another 8MP sensor at the front whereas a 16MP sensor for the back.

The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is almost the same phone with slightly upgraded specifications. Apart from the RAM, battery and storage, there’s a slightly powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset and a 5.5-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED display onboard. The front camera gets upgraded to 24MP + 5MP dual camera sensor as well.

Both the smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat with the latest ZenUI on top. The Zenfone 4 Selfie is priced at € 299 (Rs 22,000) whereas the slightly premium Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro has a price tag of € 399 (Rs 30,000). However, there’s no news of these smartphones arriving on the Indian shores anytime soon.
