Qualcomm enabled some many Android firsts and exclusives, claims chipmaker

On their blog, Qualcomm has very proudly listed out all the major technological achievements in the world towards the smartphone as a product. The list shows all the technical firsts that have been made on the Android platform, with most of them aided by Qualcomm’s technical prowess. From the popular dual camera system to the fastest Bluetooth 5 to the bezel-less display, Qualcomm shows that all of them have been done first on the Android platform before being taken forward by ‘other platforms’.

Now, it’s now at all difficult to interpret Qualcomm’s aggressive move to dampen Apple’s iPhone product launch due to happen in the course of a few hours. Apple is expected to announce a lot of technological firsts in the world of smartphones at the iPhone launch event, especially involving the better facial recognition feature that is claimed to get rid of the TouchID fingerprint sensor.
