Vivo India has unveiled its latest budget smartphone – Vivo Y71 in India. The Y71 features a 6-inch FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The company claims the Y71 has an 84.4 per cent screen-to-body-ratio display.
The Y71 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The company claims that Y71 performs defragmentation and memory optimisation tasks to offer a smoother experience. It is fuelled by a 3360mAh battery and comes with Android 8.1 out-of-the-box. The Y71 features Face Access authentication, which is intended to scan facial features for unlocking the device.
The Vivo Y71 comes with a 13MP high definition rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP selfie camera. The AI-powered selfie camera features support for gender, age, skin tone and texture to apply a range of beauty effects and for improving selfie photos.
Priced at Rs 10,990, the Vivo Y71 comes in Gold and Matte Black colour variants.
