OPPO Reno 10x Zoom finally coming to India

OPPO has announced the official launch date of its flagship devices in India.

OPPO announced its Reno and Reno 10x Zoom handsets last month and for those of you interested in purchasing these handsets, here is some good news for you. These handsets will officially be unveiled on May 28 in India.

The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom edition features a Snapdragon 855 SoC and paired with 8GB of RAM. There is a triple camera set up on the back which features a 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 13MP telephoto lens which offers 10x hybrid zoom.

The OPPO Reno is the lower-end variant of the two and it comes with a Snapdragon 710 SoC and comes with the dual rear camera setup. On this handset, we find a 48MP sensor paired with a 5MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera on both smartphones are identical and OPPO has termed their unique pop-up camera as ‘shark fin rising.’ The selfie camera is rated at 16MP.

The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED notchless display that boasts a 93.1 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The higher-end variant of the two comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The handset is fitted with a 4065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

The smaller of the two handsets, the OPPO Reno will come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and will feature a 3765mAh battery. The RAM and storage of this model are the same as its higher-end sibling and the top-of-the-line variant will be maxed out at 8GB/256GB.
