Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones this year.

Even though its still in the rumour stage, the fact that Apple will be announcing three iPhone X models this year is becoming common knowledge. Rumours point out that Apple will be launching a direct successor to the iPhone X with the same dimensions, a budget 6.1-inch iPhone X and a top of the line 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus.

A report by Softpedia has gained access to a video on Twitter that shows mock-ups of the two larger iPhones alongside the current generation iPhone X. From the video, we can see a comparison between the two new iPhones and the 2017 iPhone X. Theis comparison is made by creating dummy versions of the two handsets.

Also from the video, we can tell that there isn’t anything surprising seen here and all models feature the basic iPhone X design that includes the notch. However, there are slight variations in each model that are based on rumours that have been floating around.

To start off, the 2018 iPhone is going to be a direct successor to the 2017 iPhone X and it is expected to look identical as well. However, the internals may be beefed up with there being a newer and faster chip, an upgraded RAM, along with a refined camera.

The second one out of the lot is expected to be the cheapest of the three and it will feature a LCD display as opposed to an OLED screen that will be seen on the other two models. The screen size here will measure 6.1-inches and will have a single camera setup on the rear. The handset will also not feature 3D Touch or wireless charging in order to keep costs to a minimum.

The last of the three is the 6.5-inch model, dubbed the iPhone X Plus. It is expected to feature an OLED display like the 2018 iPhone X. There are rumours that Apple will also employ a triple-lens system on the rear. Apart from this, there will also be more RAM, possibly 4GB and it may feature a larger a battery as well.
