Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets a permanent price cut in India
Flipkart will also allow users to replace their existing smartphones to get an exchange worth of Rs 11,000.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was launched in January this year, has received a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000. The pricing for the device now starts at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant. Company’s India head Manu Kumar jain took to Twitter to make the announcement.

The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will now be selling at a price of Rs 11,999. The new pricing is applicable for both Flipkart and Mi.com customers. To add to the offers, Flipkart will also allow users to replace their existing smartphones to get an exchange worth of Rs 11,000. Also, users who buy the device using Axis Bank Buzz credit cards will get a 5 per cent discount. Users can also pay the sum using the no-cost EMI options at a monthly instalment of Rs 2,000.
To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 2.5D Curved Glass. It is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable up to 128GB.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi and draws power from a 4100mAh battery.
