Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 to launch in July

Samsung has confirmed its plans of selling refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7 flagship smartphone; however, the company never mentioned an exact date for the same. A fresh online report now claims that the smartphone will be launched sometime in July.
According to a report by ET News, Samsung plans on bringing the refurbished Note 7 smartphone — dubbed ‘Galaxy Note FE’ — by July this year. The report further goes on to suggest that the smartphone will be priced around $620 and won’t enter the US markets. Moreover, the ‘Galaxy Note FE’ will be carrying a slightly smaller battery compared to the original Note 7. The former will house either 3,000mAh or 3,200mAh battery instead of 3,500mAh battery.
Samsung plans on selling around 300,000 units of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 smartphones in Korea. To recall, the Note 7 featured a 5.7-inch Quad HD dual-edge Super AMOLED display (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) and octa-core Exynos 8890 processor or quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The device further included 64GB of internal storage alongside 12MP dual-pixel rear camera and 5MP front snapper.
