Samsung working on a flip phone?

The smartphone carried the model number, SM-G1650,' and has been certified by the Chinese telecommunications regulator, TENAA as well.

A couple of months ago, Samsung alleged flip-phone model was spotted on the Chinese telecommunications regulator website, TENAA. This led many fans to believe that the South-Korean tech-giant was working on bringing the flip phone trend back. Now, as per the latest report — the device-in-question has resurfaced but this time for passing through the official FCC website.

As reported by Android Headlines, the speculated flip-phone by Samsung carried the model number, ‘SM-G1650,’ and was showcased as being able to connect to 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA, and LTE networks. The smartphone also extends support for Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the existence of such a smartphone as yet, therefore; readers are advised to take the information with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the smartphone’s hardware/software front as yet.
