We are already holding our breath for the foldable smartphone which is expected to be uncovered by the end this year by Samsung. While that is still some time away, the company is highly likely to launch a Galaxy smartphone with as many as four cameras which, surprisingly, will be at the rear.

Leaks had already been suggesting of Samsung planning to execute such a move and now, the company has itself released a picture through its Twitter handle stating ‘4X fun.’ This clears our doubts further. As per the image, the Galaxy smartphone with four rear cameras will be getting unveiled on October 11. The company has not officially confirmed any model name and it doesn’t usually announce phones during this time of year.

Moreover, November this year will probably see the South Korean brand launching the first ever foldable smartphone which, after that, will be available commercially. We cannot expect this unconventional device to come out in October though since the company’s chief signaled its possible unveiling at the Samsung Developer’s Conference (SDC), San Francisco, to be held in November.

Reports also suggest that the device at the October event could be the new Galaxy A series device which is expected to get a set of three cameras along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, nothing could be commented on and, in order to find out which device will sport the four camera setup, if it comes, we need to wait till October 11.
