Apple CEO Tim Cook called iPhone X the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone.

After launching the most expensive smartphone in the world, Apple is now believed to have three new iPhone models in the pipeline.

According to MacRumors, renowned analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo has said that Apple will launch three new iPhones in 2018, consisting of 5.5-inch and 6.1-inch models along with a giant 6.5-inch screen model that would be the largest display ever seen on an iPhone. Comparatively, the current iPhone X features a 5.8-inch display and the iPhone 8 Plus has a 5.5-inch display.

Kuo believes that the 6.5-inch and the 5.8-inch models will use OLED screen technology similar to the iPhone X. Moreover, the company will launch the 6.1-inch model with a more traditional LCD display, marking it as the entry-level model for the flagship iPhone range.

"We believe the major hardware difference in the two new OLED models is size, in a bid to satisfy various needs of the high-end market," he said.

Additionally, Kuo says all three phones are expected to feature a full-screen design and 3D sensing; and added that Face ID will replace the home button completely in 2018.
