Leaked: Motorola to launch nine smartphones this year

Lenovo's entire Moto line-up for 2017 seems to have popped up.

Lenovo’s entire Moto line-up for this year has reportedly leaked. Well-known tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter to post alleged images of the nine smartphones that the company is expected to launch this year. As per the leaked image, the company will be launching the following given smartphones: Moto Z, Moto X, Moto G, Moto E and Moto C-series. These smartphones will be varied in terms of specifications and prices targeting at different users.

The company earlier this year, launched the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones and now it appears like the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus smartphone will be added to the family. The former is expected to pack a 5.2-inch full-HD display and full metal body; the latter is expected to pack a 5.5-inch full-HD display and a dual rear camera-set up.

The Moto C series, on the other hand, has been leaked several times in the past. Described as ‘Unlimited Essentials,’ there will be two variants of this model namely Moto C and Moto C Plus. While, the former is expected to feature a 5.-inch FWGA (480 x 854 pixels) display, the Moto C Plus will pack a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and will house a 4,000mAh battery.

The Moto E series is described as offering ‘Unlimited Value,’ and will also be coming in two variants. While the Moto E smartphone will pack a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass along with a fingerprint sensor; the Moto E Plus will come with a 5.5-inch display and will house a 5,000mAh battery.

The Moto X-series — described as offering ‘Unlimited Perfection’ — is expected to be called Moto X4 and is suggested to come packed with a 5.2-inch full-HD display and a SmartCam as well. It is interesting to note how Chinese website Baidu in a video suggested that the Moto X4 smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 3,800mAh battery.

Lastly, the Moto Z series — described to offer ‘Unlimited Capabilities’ — is expected to come in two variants namely Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force. While the former will pack a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display along with support for Moto Mods; the latter will pack a Shatter Shield screen and support for gigabit LTE and Moto Mods. It is also widely rumoured that the Moto Z Force will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC as well.
